Approach God to Listen and not to speak in 2017 – 15 minute teaching -airs five times this week

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail
Approaching God to listen and not speak as an act of obedience and a discipline will shift you more into the presence of God. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of people come closer with God to the greatest joy of their lives.

Approaching God to listen and not speak is what Jesus was telling those grumpy Pharisees when they said hey Jesus what is the greatest commandment.  Jesus said boldly…to be in love with me …

Approaching God to listen and not speak will help you along in consenting to receive the fullness of Gods love for you and your family.

Wilkins Radio

Like the dawn of a new morning we will begin to realize that God really does want to spend time with us. Time as his son or daughter or friend. Time to BE together not to talk about doing stuff.

Better than our best friend is the one who wants us to dwell with God, to abide with God to be still with God…to tarry with God… lets decide to obediently declare to God that with your grace I decide to lean in closer to you because I can. To go deeper in my relationship with you.  To learn to approach you not like an orphan but like royalty… after all God you did tell us we are a royal priesthood… priestly people love to dwell in the smoke of Gods glory…

Does this sound scary or impossible ?  Are you suffering from unbelief and hope deferred in the love relationship you have with God… take some baby steps or a few bold obedient steps this month.

Carve out in your calendar time for the one who deeply desires You.  Learn to approach God and say I no longer want to live ALONE… I am sick and tired of feeling alone…

I watched a show on the history channel with my daughter Kaitlin and her husband Jeff a few days ago and it is a survivor show called ALONE… they drop one person in one place and drop about 15 single people in a semi artic place in south America to survive…of course there is a  500 k prize…. The one guy we saw lasted two days…. He was going crazy being alone because his mind would not shut off from worrying about his wife and three children they were going to soon adopt…he was so ashamed he could not handle being alone…. Of course I thought right away…how sad he was not alone he just thought he was alone…he got air lifted or boat lifted from the aloneness…

We can approach God and learn while being silent and listening why we are not alone and who we get to spend time with who loves us much more than anyone knows…love just waiting for us…so how we approach God is :

  1. How do you see yourself ?  we will look at in the coming weeks the battlefield of our mind. The power of words we speak about ourselves…those hidden almost subconscious beliefs about ourselves that block out at this threshold or throne of grace what God is saying to us and to be able to see who we truly are. Silence before God to listen and not speak with unlock and unearth the truth of our very self our very identity that has often been stolen
  2. Practice and obedience must come into play to receive this new fresh relationship with God. Coming to God to listen will manifest Gods very presence…on you and to you and in you…yes you
  3. Gods presence manifests or arises in silence. You will become comfortable with hearing nothing because actually silence has sounds… the tangible presence of God has substance… God can speak to our spirit with His presence…  we all must must must learn this and live this to mature and flourish

Some books that can help you in this adventure or spiritual journey with God will be listed on our website… good counsel can be to find a friend to walk this out with or even a counselor…

When rebuilding the community and wall in time of Nehemiah they were busy building but they got restored big time in Nehemiah 8:5-6 when the very presence of God caused them all to fall at Gods feet on their face.  Face time with God still works and is highly transforming and healing.

In my book lean in closer with God I share about my journey to Hear God speak to me and my journey of being literally FAINT WITH LOVE with God.  Jesus and the Holy Spirit came so close that every cell in my being was pulsing with the love of God… it is hard to explain but true…it is biblical

Lets look at a book I have taught from and used in my maturing and for my character development and life with God

Listening Prayer by Leanne Payne.  Baker books is publisher. Lets see what Dallas Willard had to say about this resource:

Approaching God for communion with Him instead of a begging or defeated experience will raise us from the dead.  Is the bible true… and we all said YES IT IS…so it is true and true right now that the promise of John 17:22-23a is ours.  We must be obedient and take it by faith which has a substance.

You get to take this promise from where the throne of grace  not the throne of rejection of a busy signal or throne of ignore me because I have been bad

Please here what I am going to say right now …hear this with your spirit not your brain…the whole point of pondering our approach to God is this:

Intellectual blocks and spiritual blocks will dissolve in this listening posture and life with God

When we begin to very intentionally and obedientiary chose to PRACTICE THE PRESENCE OF GOD we enter into the place we belong…we get back to the garden….

I feel like one of The Three Stooges and then there is the Sovereignty of God ???

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Do you ever feel like in your relationship with Image result for google image moe larry and curlyGod one of the Three Stooges ?  I love the show when they did whose on first, whose on second.  God where are you and where am I in this situation ?  Do I wait for you to do it ?  Do I try fixing this mess myself ?

God is in control right evangelicals !  But my life often feels out of control.  My charismatic friends react differently to how i do and they say we have authority for stuff I thought You only had authority for.

So whose theology is correct about who you really are God and who I am ?  Image result for sovereign god

Do I ask you Lord ?  Some do this declare it thing ????  Some cast out devils.  I thought I just pray the Our Father and you do it .  When I get sick do I say “If it is your will heal me ?”  Some say its ours for the taking. You healed us 2000 years ago and do not even say you are sick.   Just say out loud I am healed. But that seems dumb to alot of us when we are walking around with cancer.   Moe, Larry and Curly I do not think were even Christians, but we look foolish to each other and those who do not even believe in you when we tell them stuff that are 180 degree polar opposites.  Image result for google image moe larry and curly

Quotes

“What do we mean by [the sovereignty of God]? We mean the supremacy of God, the kingship of God, the god-hood of God. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that God is God. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is the Most High, doing according to His will in the army of Heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth, so that none can stay His hand or say unto Him what doest Thou? (Dan. 4:35). To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is the Almighty, the Possessor of all power in Heaven and earth, so that none can defeat His counsels, thwart His purpose, or resist His will (Psa. 115:3). To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is “The Governor among the nations” (Psa. 22:28), setting up kingdoms, overthrowing empires, and determining the course of dynasties as pleaseth Him best. To say that God is Sovereign is to declare that He is the “Only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1 Tim. 6:15). Such is the God of the Bible.” A. W. Pink, The Sovereignty of God, chapter 1.practice).

GODS GRAND DESIGN FOR HUMAN HISTORY includes the Sovereignty of God in this doctrine. Let’s try a simple definition to begin.  The Sovereignty of God is the biblical teaching that all things are under God’s rule and control, and that nothing happens without His direction or permission. God works not just some things but all things according to the counsel of His own will (see Eph. 1:11). His purposes are all-inclusive and never thwarted (see Isa. 46:11); nothing takes Him by surprise. The sovereignty of God is not merely that God has the power and right to govern all things, but that He does so, always and without exception. In other words, God is not merely sovereign de jure (in principle), but sovereign de facto

Shema – Hear and Obey

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail
Shema – Hear and Obey
by Lois Tverberg
“Then (Moses) took the book

of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient (shema)!” Exodus 24:7

The word that means “hear or listen,” shema (pronounced “shmah”) is an excellent example of the difference between Hebrew, which stresses physical action and Greek and Western culture that stresses mental activity.

Listening, in our culture, is a mental activity, and hearing just means that our ears pick up sounds. But in Hebrew, the word shemadescribes hearing and also its effects – taking heed, being obedient, doing what is asked. Any parent who yells at their children, “Were you listening?” when they ignore a command to pick up their rooms understands that listening should result in action. In fact, almost every place we see the word “obey” in the Bible, it is translated from the word “shema.”

The word “Shema” is also the name of the “pledge of allegiance” that Jesus and other observant Jews up until this day have said every morning and evening. It is the first word of the first line, “Hear (Shema), O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might… ” (Deut. 6:4-5) By saying this, a Jew would remind himself of his commitment to love God, to dedicate himself to following God and doing his will. Some Jews teach their children the Shema as soon as they learn to talk! It is the central affirmation for a Jewish person of his or her commitment to the Lord. The word “shema” here again means, “take heed!” or “listen and obey!”

This gives us a clue of why Jesus says,
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” He is calling us to put his words into action, not just listen. He wants us to be doers of the word, and not hearers only. (James 1:22) We as Westerners put all our stress on what is in our minds, and tend to consider action as “dead works. But Hebrews understood that we have not truly put what we have heard into our hearts until it transforms our lives as well.

What is Pregnant with adoration ?

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

It is Christmas time and I have a good friend whose birthday is on Christmas.  There is a lot of competition for attention having been born on Christmas.  Look how happy this couple looks during pregnancy.  The happy husband anticipates new life with his ear against his wife’s womb.  I have been learning this year that love goes two ways. Love goes horizontal to other people in our lives and love goes vertical = to Father Son and Holy Spirit.

As I intentionally slow down and sit down with God to encounter Jesus, the song like that which Mary sang in Luke actually comes forth from my heart to Gods heart.  There is an umbilical cord that still remains with US and Jesus.

In sports there are postures and positions on a team. Defense and offense.  So what has been my posture with God this Christmas ?  Am I , Barbara, singing at Jesus or to Jesus ?  A friend of mine spoke one day about entering into Gods courts with praise. The picture I got was this pregnant pause.  I am coming before my most Holy God and the very lover of ME.  I pause now in anticipation of an encounter with God the Father Son and Holy Spirit.  My heart leaps and bows sometimes at the same time.  haha.

Could I adore You ?

All around the world little children and people in wheel chairs and hospital beds and on football fields are singing that great worship melody – O COME LET US ADORE HIM – we are pregnant with adoration.  Pregnant with adoration together and pregnant with adoration individually.

I find hope coming back and sorrows being lessened as I ponder anew being impregnated with Emmanuel.  It still knocks me out that Jesus came as a baby.  I love when I get real child like with God in our love affair.   The word ABAR in bible means to cross into. You become pregnant in Gods womb again which is where we came from before earth. ABAR in 1 Kings 19:11 means to pass by in a very significant and passionate way.  Pregnant with adoration comes in lingering with God. Not to get something. We linger to BE WITH the Christ.  This is our identity in the very world we live.

11122758 – angel gabriel – side view – 3d render

I was meditating on the Song Mary sang to her child the Lord. I was really looking at with my spirit what was going on between the old lady and the young lady.  Elizabeth in messianic birth beyond her days and Mary in messianic birth as a young woman. I do not think they only made cookies or swept the floor.  I think they fell beyond their knees…. pregnant with adoration can bring us to be faint with love…faith with adoration…. we feel and sense Jesus with every cell in our being in its fullness…. our ambilical cord  connects to the Holy Spirit and the Spirit reveals Jesus up close and very personal.  I am not going to settle for stale love with Jesus.  Holy Spirit impregnates us with Jesus .

When pregnant with adoration the baby in the manger leaps in my womb. I can hear the very heart of love Jesus has for me beating… speaking… The intentional pursuit of Jesus creates pregnant adoration. Adoration is cultivated.

My most favorite presents in life are to know others who are truly going after Father Son and Holy Spirit encounters.  To linger or not to linger…mmmmmm….. If you have an encounter with adoring God I would love love love to tell others.   I will finish with the truth that I really pursue. Jesus says that the same love the Father has for Jesus he has for us.  I pray that the Lord kills anything in me that keeps that over the top almost incomprehensible reality for all of us.
John 17:11b   ” so that they may be one as we are one.”

John 17:26 ” I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.  “

Glory to God in the highest and peace to all mankind.

How do you know if you believe or see yourself and life as an orphan ? Do you feel disconnected from being loved ?

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Image result for google image of orphan

if you live life not known, you need to be known…. you may not know you are doing this.  this goes on from the time of being a child.  you decide you are alone and i need to protect myself because no one will protect me. If you feel alone and that there is no one to trust….you believe you are alone…truth is God is available but the natural mind says we are alone…the enemy created the orphan system… part of what develops when children see the faults in their parents and internalize those faults and a distrust toward parents comes bigger and bigger….. child closes off their spirit… you can withdraw or rebel….deep down root is disconnection from love…it makes more sense to be independent and only trust yourself…. if you family showed no emotion, every child needs love….. we develop our identity from being loved… a stoic family is a generational family raised with orphan hearts… they teach their children it is not safe to be yourself…it is not safe to be vulnerable and show your weaknesses….roots come from evil one….  like Frank Sinatra you said I do it my way….  some become performers and some just close down and close off…walls withdrawal, shell….life….deep down inside i feel unloved…..Image result for google image of orphan

the positional truth is in our spirit but the work of the spirit is to bring the appropriated work of the Cross into our soul.  Can you hear God very well?  Disconnect with shame and it is rooted in fear of disconnection… when we believe a lie we empower the liar thought God is right there. Bret Rutland helps humans get connected.  See what the roots are that keep you from being beloved… roots are not what happens but the root is the belief system …an orphan spirit is removed by the Holy Spirit so you see what you believe that gets changed.  Romans 12 we get transformed by revelation of who God is and who we are and that is what shifts things.

Angels on Assignment – It must be Christmas

Luke 1:26-38

Christ’s Birth Announced to Mary

26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”[a]

29 But when she saw him,[b] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”

35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”

38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

Advent is preparation time.

Zechariah just prior is encountered by an angel 1:18 Luke and he asked how can I be sure of this ?  Angels are real and they still today bring messages and ministry for God and to God.  In Genesis and Numbers there are references 32 times regarding angels. All angels were created holy, Matthew 8:38.

Angels have names, ranks, positions and jobs to do for God.  In Isaiah 14 we see where Satan was thrown out of heaven and down to the earth. So one third of angels are evil and are very organized and less powerful than Gods elect angels.   Enjoy this 15 minute broadcast to bring truth and curiosity to your heart and mind this Christmas.  Angels are on assignment.  O come let us adore Him.  Christ the Lord.  Angels we have heard on high sweetly singing over the plains and the mountains in reply echoing their joyous strains. Angels we have heard on high sweetly sweetly through the night and the mountains in reply echoing their brief delight. What is the difference between a prophet of God and a psychic?

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Eagerly desire the gift of prophesy…. 1 Corinthians 14:1

Dr. Becky Slabaugh of Inner Treasures Ministries and Pastor Barbara Moore provide a two week discussion on biblical principles about prophecy and psychic powers.  Gifts are to build up the church.  We provide some dialogue to perhaps draw you to decide to study the Word of God on a gift that is for the building up and edification of Gods Church. The spiritual gift of prophecy is an extraordinary and unique gift.

Dr. Becky holds a B.A. in Practical Ministry, a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Pastoral Counselinghttp://www.innertreasuresministries.com.

Dr. Becky’s journey has led her to publish two Number One Best Selling Books on Amazon, “When Dreams and Destiny Collide – God Is Messaging You!” Her most recent Amazon #1 Best Seller book, “The Ultimate Treasure Hunt – 7 Keys To Unlocking Your Destiny” is Volume 2 of the series “When Dreams and Destiny Collide – God Is Messaging You!”

Biblical background in Scriptures:

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:1 to “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.”  This gift is a blessing to the church and should not be quenched or despised (1 Thessalonians 5:20).  Those who have the gift of prophecy differ from the Old Testament Prophets who spoke the authoritative Word of God directly.  Their words were recorded as Scripture as they proclaimed, “Thus says The Lord,” whereas the messages from those with the spiritual gift of prophecy must be tested (1 Corinthians 14:29-33; 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21; 1 John 4:1-3).  In the New Testament the Apostles, not the prophets, took over the role of Scriptural proclamation from the Old Testament Prophets.

The Greek word for the gift of prophecy is propheteia which is the ability to receive a divinely inspired message and deliver it to others in the church.  These messages can take the form of exhortation, correction, disclosure of secret sins, prediction of future events, comfort, inspiration, or other revelations given to equip and edify the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:3-4, 24-25).  Again, they do not constitute the authoritative Word of God, but are the human interpretation of the revelation that was received.  They are spoken in human words through a human mind which is why they must be tested against the Scriptures (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21).

The Holy Spirit gives the gift of prophecy to some believers to make God’s heart known and to edify the church.  This gift is for the benefit of both believers and unbelievers and is a sign that God is truly among His church (1 Corinthians 14:22-25).  Those with this gift are sensitive to both the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the needs of the church body.  They should be humble and continually study the Scriptures in order to test these revelations before speaking them.  When they do speak, they should allow and even expect others to weigh what is said against the Scriptures and interpret the message accordingly.  In this way the church may be continually built up together in unity (1 Corinthians 14:4, 26).  See also Romans 12:6, 1 Corinthians 12:10, 14:1-5, Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 Peter 4:10-11

PROPHETS AND PSYCHICS

Notes by Dr. Becky from John Paul Jackson Ministry teaching The Art of Hearing God. https://www.streamsministries.com/

God gives all of mankind spiritual gifts. It is up to mankind to distinguish and discern from where we are receiving revelation.

Psychics listen from the soul realm (mind, will and emotions).

Prophets listen from the realm of the Holy Spirit.

Example:

Paul and Silas encounter a woman with the spirit of divination.

Acts 16:16-18, “Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling.

This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, ‘These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.’

And this she did for many days.

But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit,

‘I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.’

And he came out that very hour.”

The demon was claiming fact, but it was not proclaiming Truth.  Paul revealed this was a demon and thus commanded this demon to leave.

What is the difference between Fact and Truth?

Facts can have an ulterior motive or motives to it.

Truth involves motives with fact. Truth cannot be distorted.

Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

Many times something can look good for the moment, which is the Knowledge of the Tree of Good and Evil, however, there is a good element that is not of God.

Why did the devil tell her to proclaim: “These men are the servants of the Most High God who proclaim to us the way of salvation?”

The girl was being ‘set-up,’ for dominion (realm of authority) when Paul would leave. She would be considered the leader and to lead people astray.

What is the gift of prophecy?

The ability to RECEIVE the revelation. It’s not the revelation itself, but the GIFT in having the ability to receive the revelation.

With every gift there is a vacuum. Being lead astray or distorted can fill up the place where God’s gift was to be. (The slave girl).

The spirit of divination will speak facts. The Tree of Evil and Knowledge.

The Holy Spirit will speak Truth. God’s Holy Truth. The Tree of Life.

Matthew 12:25-28, “But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out?

Therefore, they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

Are we attributing more power to Satan than to God?

Demons do not know the future, rather only knowledge – not revelation.

Remember: Every gift has a vacuum where Satan can come in and fill up with facts rather than Truth.

Prophets receive spiritual reception from God.

Psychics receive knowledge from demonic intel – observing humans.

Knowledge are things that are disguised as if they were not. When the knowledge comes to pass, they can appear as revelation.

Demons feed the demonic network to give the psychics info. There is a demonic network; demons watch what is going on and tell the information to mediums. For instance, they hear people making future plans and reveal that information to psychics so it appears that psychics can predict the future. If psychics tell you about your future and you agree with it, you just gave the demonic permission to make it happen.

It could be a familiar spirit in operation where knowledge is used as revelation.

Satan is not omnipresent. God is.

If Satan knew the future, He would not have lost the battle.

God won.

God’s prophets display the glory of God.

God is the only Creator; gifts are a creation.

Colossians 1:16, “For by Him all things were created that are in Heaven and that are on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”

James 1:17, every good and perfect gift comes from God. Gifts are spiritual – from God who is Spirit. All gifts come from God, although some people do not use their gifts for God’s purposes.

Satan does not give gifts. He is not a creator. Satan is not a giver or creator.

Creator:

Gives; Builds; Adds to; Enhances; Eternal

Counterfeiter:

Steals, Destroys, Deteriorates; Detracts; Temporal

Soul power is energized by Satan.

Psychics have a gift from God, but it is not revelation but information.

Satan’s gift is not a counterfeit gift but a counterfeit usage of the gift. Note the Egyptian magicians: Jannes (rebel and seducer) and Jambres (opponent) and their demonically inspired power.

Satan is not omnipresent. He was kicked out of heaven. Satan will manipulate gifts through the soul realm whereas God release revelation through the realm of Heaven, where His glory resides.

God receives glory by doing what no one else can do: healing, inner healing, and predicting the future, to name a few. To deny prophesy, healing, inner healing/deliverance, and/or dreams is denying God’s glory to Himself.

God’s prophets display the glory of God.

How can we discern the difference between that which is good and that which is of God?

Hebrews 4:12, “For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Hebrews 5:14, “But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

It is easy to tell God from evil. It can be difficult to tell the differences between good and God.

Genesis 2:7, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

The breath of life refers to life in the physical and spiritual realm. Humanity was intended to live in two different realms, the natural (relating to the Earth) and the spiritual (relating to God).

The dust had no form, so Adam was the form from the dust.

Romans 8:29, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

NOTES FROM TEACHING BY John Piper –  preaching link below.  This is a message on truths regarding Prophecy  by a teaching Pastor , John Piper of www.desiringgod.org   The Father Son and Holy Spirit help us to hold to sound teaching and truth.

Scripture judges prophecies.  Look at teaching of apostles with the gift of prophecy… if anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual he should acknowledge what i am writing is a command of the Lord.  Apostolic word judges prophecy.  The word of God is the platform.  A sure word to test every claim.   Acts 2 is and waiting to receive power. Spirit comes like a wind with flames of fire.  Filled with Holy Spirit.  Verse 11 visitors hear in our own tongue the mighty works of God.  They are saying great things about God and His attributes..Verse 16 is explanation.  Peter says they are not drunk in their estacy…it is epic making prophetic fulfilling. Joel is coming to pass before your very eyes..  this has forward fulfillment… a world wide spiritual experience… your sons and daughters shall widespread prophecy…men and women… young and old..  high and low class….and they shall prophecy..  first mark of Holy Spirit outpouring   huge out pour… last days are now…  this is that which Joel said…  after last days is coming of Jesus…it is a long extended period.  Jesus is the mark of the last days reigning..

some prophet perhaps said the day of the Lord is at hand… verse one says a spirit…now concerning the coming of Christ we beg you to to be shaken in mind, either by spirit or by word or letter purporting…  led no one deceive you..  i don’t care if anyone prophesied the day of the Lord…

Gift of prophecy spirit sustained fallible speak..??

something else…what is it …we must create a category….all mixed up with human error…oh what good is it…its a mess….compare gift of prophecy to gift of teaching… prompted and sustained by HS…spirit is  moving to make it happen and good and healthy..prompted and sustained  rooted in infallible

THIRD CATEGORY….  sifting idea…sift a prophetic 1 thess 5:19-22   do  not quench the spirit do not despise prophecies…. but test everything and hold fast what is good… not a test of prophets but of prophecies…  helpful or unhelpful   …another kind of speak… useful to church when properly weighed … John Piper message:

Teaching on Daystar Christian TV by John Paul Jackson…

I have seen Christians who are not getting prayers answered or hearts healed from loved ones gone or deep tragedy chose to get some answers from the wrong side – powers of Darkness.   Pokemon and Harry Potter are divination light and many people open doors unknowingly when using revelation from those with light masqueraded in darkness.    If you do not have any teaching on contacting the dead as described in Bible:

Leviticus 19:26-31

‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying. ‘You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard. ‘You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD. read more.
